Charitable Bird Hospital is a place where injured and ill birds get treatment for free! It is just opposite the historic Red Fort in Delhi. It was Established in 1929. This unique Bird Hospital has all facilities for the treatment of birds, including ICUs. The feathered patients here get cure due to utmost care as per requirements. After recovery, these winged beings become free. Hence get a new lease of life! A heart touching and inspiring story of flying creatures.

धर्मार्थ पक्षी अस्पताल!

इंसान के जख़्मों पर तो मरहम लग जाता है, लेकिन परिंदों का क्या जो बेज़ुबान होते हैं, और अपने दर्द को बयाँ नहीं कर पाते!
दिल्ली के चांदनी चौक में, लालकिले के ठीक सामने बना पक्षियों के धर्मार्थ चिकित्सालय की स्थापना 1929 में की गई थी, और यह पूरी दिल्ली में एक ऐसा अस्पताल है, जो घायल पक्षियों को नयी ज़िंदगी दे रहा है। इस अस्पताल में लोग दूर-दूर से घायल पक्षियों का इलाज करवाने आते हैं।

पिछले 90 सालों से इस अस्पताल का ख़र्चा और रख-रखाव स्वैच्छिक अनुदानों से ही सफलता पूर्वक चल रहा है। इलाज के बाद स्वस्थ परिंदों को पिंजरे में कैद नहीं किया जाता। इसके बजाय उन्हें खुले आसमान में एक नयी उड़ान भरने के लिए छोड़ दिया जाता है। पक्षियों का यह अस्पताल वाकई कमाल है!
