Attempt is being made to transform ‘Rural India’ into ‘New & Empowered India’! Positive relations between India and United Kingdom (UK) is bringing the two nations together. Yet again! Lotus Flower Trust is here. It’s a charitable organisation based in UK. The trust is providing unique opportunities to poor & needy children (& women too, at times) in remote villages of India. ब्रिटेन की एक सामाजिक संस्था Lotus Flower Trust पिछले कई वर्षों से भारत के सुदूर ग्रामीण इलाकों में विकास कार्यों के जरिए, ग़रीब-गुरबा को सश्क्त बनाने में जुटी है। ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों के विकास हेतु ग़रीब और ज़रूरतमंद बच्चों के लिए विद्यालयों, अनाथालयों और कौशल केन्द्रों का निर्माण करवाने के साथ-साथ, यह सामाजिक संस्था महिलाओं को आत्मनिर्भर होना भी सिखा रही है।
वाह! ग्रामीण भारत में ज़रूरतमंद बच्चों और महिलाओं के बीच शक्ति का संचार करने का यह अनोखा विदेशी प्रयास सचमुच ‘कमाल है’!
